American Platforms Custom Equipment Logos are designed to adhere to most weight plates, bumper plates and dumbbells with a smooth to semi-textured surface. Team logos will not apply well to heavy or rough textured surfaces.

American Platforms Custom Equipment Logos are designed to be durable. Made from tough wearing materials, our logos adhere extremely well to your equipment, providing years of motivation and inspiration to your athletes.

We have used the same resources that we used to produce the only material that we use for our Team Floor Logos that adhere to rubber weightlifting platforms and rubber weight room flooring. Our logos have been in use in some of the most challenging environments for more than 5 years now.

We have created a simple PDF template that you can download and print. Cut out the templates that are actual sizes of our Team Logos to match with your plates and dumbbells. This process will guarantee a proper size and fit for your new Team Logos.

Standard Plate and Dumbbell Team Logo sizes range from 1" to 2.5". Larger sizes and quantities different from the Red & Blue kits will be quoted separately.

American Platforms Team Logos produces logos in kits, designed for plates and dumbbells.

Teams usually want a single logo for each side of their weight plates and bumper plates. Additionally, they will apply a single logo to each outside plate of their dumbbells. Depending on the style of plate or dumbbell, where the manufacturer has displayed the weight and their brand, the Blue Kit is necessary to balance out the Logos with design. 
Example: if there is only space beneath the weight designation on a bumper plate, you may want to have 2 Logos on each side, to add balance of your Team Logo under both sides of the weight designation.

Standard Plate kits are Red & Blue. Plate kits are sold per plate.

Red Kit - Contains 2 Logos - Max 2.5"
Blue Kit - Contains 4 Logos - Max 2.5"

Standard Dumbbell kits are Red & Blue. Dumbbell kits are sold in pairs (two dumbbells).

Red Kit - Contains 4 Logos - Max 1.5"
Blue Kit - Contains 8 Logos - Max 1.5"

American Platforms Team Logos work on virtually any flat surface weight plate, bumper plates, or dumbbells. They will adhere to smooth to lightly textured surfaces of steel, urethane and rubber.

We have tested American Platform Team Logos with all major manufacturers of weight plates, bumper plates and dumbbells. Brands such as; Intek, Hammer Strength, Ivanko, Iron Grip, American Barbell.

Installation is very easy. American Platforms Team Logos are designed for self-installation. We will provide you with an installation guide and video to follow.

Each plate should take no more than a few minutes, and a set of dumbbells less than 5 minutes. This is including cleaning time for existing plates and dumbbells.

Artwork is very important to produce high quality Team Logo images. We prefer that you provide a vector file of your logo. We also understand that many times that is near impossible or impossible to do. In these cases, we have an art department that will be able to assist in producing a vector file from another image type that you provide.

Please let us know if you need help with your logo and we will get our team members involved to help. We can help with converting a raster file into a vector with a decent copy of your logo, or if you need to make adjustments to your current logo, we can help with that as well.

Vector files are much more flexible and rely on mathematical equations that generate files upon rescaling in order to allow a perfect image quality. Common vector file types are .ai, .eps and some .pdf files. Click here to see a simple infographic explaining how to tell if you have a vector file.
Note: not all .pdf files are vector, so you should confirm that they are first.

Raster files use thousands of pixels to build an image. Each pixel has a color. These pixels are put together like a jigsaw puzzle to create your image/ logo. Common files which use Raster images are JPG, GIF and PNG files.

One simple way to determine if your image is a vector file type is to expand it several times. If the edges are pixelated or distorted, it is not a vector file. If the edges are clean and sharp, then it is most likely a vector file.
